E-Commerce & Internet LawWe have been involved in internet and e-commerce law for over fifteen years and we have advised on most aspects of internet law and e-commerce. We have acted for auction sites, where we have advised on the processes and requirements for on-line trading and prepared all related contractual documents. We have advised on the establishment of an on-line trading system and delivery and support of software online. Our work in this area continues to challenge and fascinate, both in the way it throws up new issues every day and the way that we have to use an existing legal structure and set of laws to deal with situations those laws were never designed to deal with. Increasingly, we are seeing issues arising due to online defamation, for example associated with blogs or other on-line forums. The business opportunities the internet is generating, such as social networking and linking, are also throwing up complex legal issues over how these opportunities can be used in a legal context. |
